Designer Love: Dear Creatures

Hello Internet!
I am currently posting from my bedroom at home for one of the last times (in a while), as I leave for college in 2 days time. It's kind of weird to think that these are the last few days I'll ever really be living at home, instead of just staying there for the summer.

It's both an exhilarating AND terrifying thought! Either way, I am incredibly excited to start a new chapter of my life. And as comes with new beginnings, I thought I'd try something a little different on this here blog. I do not normally talk much about designers, mostly due to the fact that the majority of my online presence has to do with thrifted/vintage fashion; however, I am not completely unaware to designers. In fact, my favorite brand ever created has to be Dear Creatures

I first found out about their designs through ModCloth, and I have been hooked ever since. They just recently released their Autumn 2014 collection, and I am in love! As such, I thought I'd share with you guys some pictures of my favorites from the collection. I hope you fall in love as quickly as I did!

Bows are ALWAYS a must in my wardrobe, and these shirts are everything I ask for in a top. The colors, the style, everything!

I don't think I could survive without the blue dress in my wardrobe, the color of it is my favorite shade of blue (which is my favorite color overall) and it has the perfect 60s smock dress silhouette.

I have also come to the conclusion that my fall/winter coat is going to be from this line (I'm in desperate need of a good coat) but deciding between the rain drop and the navy blue is going to kill me, because they're both SO adorable.

If you know me, then you know I don't normally wear pants. Ever. But the cigarette style of these pants has me so enamored.

And of course any 60s style dress is going to have me ready with my credit card the moment I see it. And someone tell me, where can I get those shoes?

Lastly, this shirt/sweater/skirt combo is perfect, and perfectly casual. I may have to save up some extra cash and splurge on this collection, because I love everything about it. Dear Creatures, you never disappoint.

And lastly (but not least!), I have this perfect dress in line. Its stripes, pleated skirt, bow, and articulately placed keyhole has me falling in loooooooove! I normally don't go for black or gray, but for some reason this combo has me swooning.

What do you think of this year's Autumn collection?
Let me know in the comments down below!

Everything Goals: French 60s Yé-Yé Girls

Source Unknown
It's no secret that the majority of my inspiration comes from the 60s. I've always had this little obsession with the "It Girls" of the 60s, to be even more specific. I cannot even pinpoint what it is, but some aspect of them has always intrigued me and even inspired me to emulate them. In fact, one of the first posts on this blog was style inspired by Francoise Hardy!

So, here are a bunch of images of french girls from the 60s!
