Dorm Tour

Hello!!

How is everyone today?

This morning I woke up around 8 AM, filmed a YouTube video, cleaned my dorm, edited it, uploaded it, and now I'm blogging. Would you look at how productive I've been (I'm mostly procrastinating my impending homework)

I love Fridays (not only because I don't have classes), but because it's the one day of the week I always like to take for myself, and do things that make me happy. Sharing with you all makes me happy!

As well as filming I video, I took a few photographs of my dorm as well. I'm hoping to get more into photography again, as I'd like to document my experiences as much as possible, and I've been lacking on that end. 

I'm so happy to finally have my room together & to be living in such a nice space. I was so lucky in that my roommate moved out last semester, and I haven't been assigned a new one, so I have been able to move all of my belongings into the whole room, leaving me with such a large space. 

My friend Katie made this adorable banner for me way back in September, and it makes me smile every time I see it. Sugartown is my favorite song by my queen (aka Nancy Sinatra).

I'm almost sad to think that my time living in the dorm is almost over. As much as I can't wait to move into my own apartment, I'm incredibly attached to this everyday life. It's so easy, and living in my own apartment is going to be unlike anything I've ever experienced.

Then again, I had never experienced anything like college before, and I fell in love immediately.

Spring Haul!

Hello my friends!

A little less than a week ago I uploaded a new haul to my YouTube Channel, and I thought I would finally share it on here. I'm finally getting back into the groove of uploading regularly on both here and my YouTube.

I'm going on vacation to Denver tomorrow, and I can't wait to get some great pictures while I'm there!!!

1,000 Subscribers

Yay!!!!!!!!! I have finally reached 1,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel (youtube.com/foxinater)!!!! I'm so excited. I put tons and tons of work into my videos, and it feels absolutely fantastic to know people care. 

In celebration, I'm considering hosting a giveaway, except I'm not sure how to go about that! I was considering maybe contacting an Etsy shop, or a smaller online shop, but I don't know where to start! If you guys know anyone who is credible, and would be interesting in taking part, let me know either in the comments down below, or contact me at mfoxcontact@gmail.com. I think this was definitely perfect timing. As I mentioned yesterday, I've been feeling a little out-of-myself recently, and this has given me such a huge morale boost. I feel so inspired to do even more. I feel amazing!

Thoughts on the Fashion Community//Other Ramblings

Hey guys! I feel like I haven't posted in ages. For once I was actually busy with friends! Who knew! I have friends!

Jokes aside, I've been grappling inwardly with this issue for a while, and I decided I want to put it on the forefront before I continue with my "career" in fashion and beauty etc etc etc

Basically, I don't like how things are run on YouTube within the fashion community, and I don't want someone following me and thinking that I'm someone I'm not. This portion of my life is not my only self, and really it's my best self put out there. I just want people to know that, I guess.

Anyway, I have a much more light-hearted post coming up soon! For now, here's a fun fact: when I was filming this video my cat assaulted me. It was not pretty. And I have footage of the whooooooooole thing. 

My shoulder still hurts :(

Wednesday Wishes: Fall Loves

Hey guys! Happy Wednesday!

I know it seems like my blog is suddenly turning into just wishlists, but I promise this will end soon! My birthday is in six days, and I suddenly have the want to scour fashion blogs and websites for new, cute clothes. I have fall fever, and I'm completely obsessed with fall looks. Bye-bye summer!

I am completely in love with this dress, and I am determined to own it at some point or another.

I found some really cute bags that look just like this one on Urban Outfitters for an upwards of $70 (!?!??!?!?). Instead I found this lovely one on Etsy.

 I actually already own a Cambridge Satchel, in the color red. I've had it for the past year, and it still looks completely new. I definitely would look into investing in a new one because they're so absolutely cute.

Style Inspiration: Boys Over Flowers

Hey guys! I know what you're thinking... "so much for 'daily' posts"... But I have a valid excuse! I swear!

For the past four days, I got completely caught up in this show called Boys Over Flowers (it's a Korean drama--don't question it). I have a completely obsessive personality, and being me, I finished the entire show on Netflix in four days. We're talking 25 episodes that are a little over an hour long each.

yeah.

But luckily for you, I drew a lot of fashion inspiration from it, and I thought I would share it with you! I am absolutely in love with Korean fashion, so this was fun to do.

Geum Jan-di

The main female character's name is Geum Jan-di; she looks like this:

She's totally adorable and wears some really adorable outfits throughout the show. She wears a lot of cute sweaters and skirts with tights, and that fantastic school uniform... But we can't forget the over-the-knee socks. I couldn't get enough of those.
